This was my second trip to the Grand Canyon and I still don’t know how to put a description into words. I took lots of panoramic photos which I will share here. But they don’t do the view justice.
One thing that I learned that I didn’t know was that in the 1960s, uranium was mined in the Grand Canyon and they are currently working to restore the area and monitoring the levels of radioactivity.
I think in the future I would really like to do a float trip on the river through the entire canyon and a down and out backpacking trip. I feel like I’ve barely explored this great wonder.
